About Accalia
I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor with a First Class Honours degree in English from RHUL and am currently working towards a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Nottingham. I have a full DBS check and have over 2 years of experience with online tuition. I offer online tutoring to GCSE and A level students via GoogleMeet - I use an online whiteboard combined with video calling, PowerPoints and workbooks - you will see the work that we are doing on the screen and I will talk you through everything the same as if I were sat next to you. I also ensure that a shared Google Doc is set up so students will have access to all the work we cover, as well as further learning resources and activities. I offer a unique and flexible tutoring approach that focuses on ensuring students: ✶ understand what they need to know ✶ improve their memory and revision methods ✶ apply their knowledge correctly in exam style questions to achieve their dream grades ✶ feel more confident in their subjects and themselves Reviews: “Accalia has been the best tutor! Accalia tailors her sessions to her students, and takes pride in seeing them pass their exams to a high standard. She is easy to talk to and an excellent tutor.
Accalia assisted me with my writing, which I needed to improve for the writing of scientific papers. From this I was able to communicate my ideas better and I saw a drastic improvement in the level of comprehension of my work shown by others.
Accalia has a friendly, approachable demeanour. This allowed me to comfortably improve over a shorter amount of time. I would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their english and writing skills, as her way of explaining grammar and readability made it very easy compared to other methods I've tried.Accalia has been tutoring for a year now and ensures she is well prepared for each tutoring session.
