About Emily
I began playing the viola in 5th grade and fell in love immediately. My orchestra teacher was absolutely amazing and always provided tips that helped me play technically and artistically which I plan to share. I stayed section leader throughout intermediate, middle, and most of high school, participating in the advanced orchestra while in high school. During high school, I also played in the school musical in the pit playing musical music as well as participate in a few competitions.

I believe that positivity is extremely helpful when beginning to learn an instrument, knowing that there will be lots of errors before perfection. I also believe that instrumentalists should learn the basics of keys and some music theory to strengthen their background.
