About Liam
I am a violin tutor with 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Violin. I enjoy helping students discover that consistent practice and positive encouragement can lead to meaningful musical growth and confidence.
My teaching approach is supportive, organized, and adapted to each learner's individual goals. I encourage students to develop both technical precision and artistic expression while enjoying every stage of learning.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing chamber works, studying violin masterpieces, and exploring historical performance traditions. These experiences allow me to bring fresh inspiration and valuable practical knowledge into every lesson.

My violin lessons help students build excellent technique while enjoying the expressive qualities of the instrument. We focus on posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, tone production, intonation, listening skills, and coordinated movement through practical exercises that encourage steady progress and musical confidence.
As learners improve, we introduce scales, shifting, vibrato, expressive phrasing, sight reading, ensemble performance, concert preparation, and focused practice routines. I also teach silent practice, mental rehearsal, and relaxation methods that help students perform comfortably while improving their musical expression.
My goal is to help every learner become a confident violinist with strong technical ability and expressive performance skills. Every lesson encourages discipline, creativity, and lasting enjoyment of music through supportive guidance.
