About Freya
I have 12 years of experience teaching violin and hold a PhD in Music Performance. Throughout my career, I have worked with beginners, developing musicians, and advanced learners, helping them achieve their personal and musical goals.
My teaching philosophy centers on encouragement, discipline, and individual growth. I enjoy helping students discover their strengths while building a solid technical foundation. Lessons are adapted to meet the needs of each learner.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy performing, studying violin repertoire, and participating in musical collaborations. These experiences continue to inspire my teaching. I look forward to helping students grow as musicians and enjoy the rewards of learning violin.

My violin lessons help students develop strong technical skills while building confidence and musical expression. We focus on posture, bowing technique, intonation, rhythm accuracy, tone quality, and performance preparation. Lessons are carefully structured to support steady improvement at every stage of learning.
I include scales, technical studies, repertoire exploration, listening exercises, and musical interpretation activities in each lesson. Students receive personalized guidance that helps them overcome challenges while strengthening both their technique and understanding of music.
Every lesson encourages patience, consistency, and creativity. I provide supportive feedback and clear goals so students can see their progress over time. My goal is to help learners become skilled and confident violinists who enjoy making music.
