About Rina
I have many years of experience teaching and performing violin across a range of styles and musical settings. My teaching emphasizes patience, adaptability, and encouragement, creating a supportive environment where students can grow both technically and artistically. I focus on helping learners develop their own musical voice, blending strong technical foundations with expressive interpretation and creativity. Watching students progress from foundational skills to confident, expressive performance is deeply fulfilling.

My violin lessons combine technical precision, musical understanding, and expressive creativity. I guide students through posture, bowing techniques, scales, intonation, and vibrato, while helping them develop a personal musical voice and confident stage presence. Every session is tailored to individual goals, learning pace, and skill level.
Beginners focus on correct posture, bow hold, basic finger placement, and simple melodies to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners refine bow control, shifting, intonation, and explore varied repertoire and stylistic expression. Advanced students work on advanced bowing techniques, vibrato refinement, tone production, and performance readiness. Music theory and ear training are integrated naturally to enhance musical understanding and accuracy.
I encourage students to connect deeply with the instrument, turning practice into an expressive and rewarding artistic journey. Each lesson is designed to build confidence, discipline, creativity, and long-term musical growth.
