About Sona
My love for violin began through childhood experiences with orchestral performances and classical recordings that inspired creativity and curiosity. This interest encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music followed by a Master’s Degree in Classical Violin Studies. Over the past 7 years, I have guided students from different musical backgrounds while helping them improve technical skill and expressive confidence through supportive music education.
I believe music learning should feel motivating, structured, and emotionally rewarding for every student. My teaching style focuses on technical clarity, patient explanation, and musical interpretation that help learners grow confidently at their own pace. I encourage students to ask questions openly and participate actively because confidence develops naturally through encouragement and regular practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music collaborations, orchestral performances, and exploring historical interpretations of classical repertoire. Staying connected to music creatively helps me bring fresh perspective and inspiration into lessons regularly. Teaching violin is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students discover their artistic voice and personal confidence. My goal is always to support learners in becoming expressive, disciplined, and passionate musicians.

My violin lessons focus on helping students build technical confidence while developing expressive and enjoyable musical skills. I teach bow control, posture, rhythm training, intonation, sight reading, and tone production in a calm and encouraging environment where learners can improve steadily and comfortably. Students learn how strong foundations support expressive playing and long-term musical growth naturally. Every lesson encourages patience, focus, and regular practice.
Lessons are personalized according to the learner’s experience level and musical interests. Beginners focus on open string exercises, hand positioning, simple scales, and rhythm accuracy, while advanced learners work on vibrato, dynamic phrasing, advanced repertoire, and performance preparation. I include ear training, slow practice methods, and guided exercises regularly because repetition strengthens both coordination and confidence effectively. Students receive constructive guidance that supports improvement without creating unnecessary stress or pressure.
I aim to create a reassuring atmosphere where students feel comfortable exploring music and expressing themselves creatively. Many learners begin with nervousness about technique or performance situations, so I focus on building confidence through supportive instruction and achievable progress. Over time, students improve musical understanding, expressive ability, and stage confidence naturally. Violin becomes far more meaningful when learners discover how beautifully music can communicate feeling and imagination.
