About Beverly
I am a violin tutor with 9 years of experience and a Master of Music in String Performance. I enjoy helping students discover their musical potential through patient teaching and encouraging support.
My lessons are designed around individual progress, clear technique, and creative expression. I believe students grow best when they feel motivated and supported throughout their learning journey.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing in string ensembles, studying violin methods, and exploring music from different periods. These experiences help me bring practical knowledge and inspiration into every lesson.

My violin lessons help students develop comfortable and effective playing techniques through structured practice. We focus on posture, bow movement, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, scales, tone quality, string transitions, and musical phrasing using exercises designed for steady improvement. Every lesson encourages confidence and enjoyment.
As learners become more advanced, we practice vibrato, shifting, sight reading, ensemble skills, recital preparation, ear training, interpretation, and efficient practice methods. I provide individual guidance that helps students improve accuracy while developing their own musical expression.
My goal is to help students become confident violinists who enjoy performing and learning. Every lesson builds technique, creativity, and a deeper connection with music.
