About Nia
My journey with violin began through classical music exposure and fascination with orchestral performance during my early training years. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Violin Performance. Over the past 6 years, I have guided students from beginner to advanced levels, helping them build strong technique and musical confidence.
I believe music education should be structured, patient, and encouraging for every learner. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, step-by-step guidance, and consistent practice methods that help students improve naturally. I encourage students to ask questions and stay curious because learning becomes easier when they feel supported and understood.
Outside teaching, I enjoy orchestral playing, chamber music collaboration, and studying classical repertoire. Staying connected with performance helps me bring real musical insight into lessons. Teaching violin is deeply fulfilling because I enjoy helping students grow into confident and expressive musicians. My goal is to support every learner in discovering both discipline and emotional depth in music.

My violin lessons focus on helping students build strong technical foundations while developing musical expression and confidence through structured practice. I teach posture, bow control, intonation, rhythm accuracy, sight reading, and expressive phrasing in a calm environment where learners can improve steadily at their own pace. Students learn how disciplined practice leads to better tone, musical control, and performance confidence over time. Every lesson is designed to feel supportive and encouraging.
Lessons are carefully tailored to each learner's experience level and musical goals. Beginners focus on open string exercises, basic finger placement, rhythm training, and simple melodies, while advanced learners work on vibrato, shifting positions, complex bowing techniques, and performance preparation. I include slow practice methods, ear training, and guided repetition because consistent focus improves accuracy and musical understanding effectively. Students receive clear feedback that helps them improve without stress or confusion.
I aim to create a calm and motivating environment where students feel safe expressing themselves through music. Many learners struggle with tension or performance anxiety, so I focus on relaxation techniques and gradual skill building. Over time, students develop better tone quality, confidence, and emotional expression. Violin becomes more enjoyable when learners understand how patience and practice shape musical growth.
