About Bruce
I am a violin tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. I enjoy helping students improve through positive encouragement and carefully structured lessons.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, clear instruction, and steady growth. I support every learner in building confidence while developing reliable musical skills.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing with orchestras, studying classical violin works, and creating educational practice activities. These experiences allow me to bring practical knowledge and fresh musical ideas into every lesson.

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop excellent technique while enjoying every stage of learning. We study posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, scales, tone production, string coordination, and musical phrasing through structured exercises and enjoyable repertoire. Every lesson encourages confidence and consistent progress.
As students gain experience, we work on shifting, vibrato, sight reading, ensemble playing, recital preparation, ear training, musical interpretation, and smart practice habits. I provide encouraging feedback and practical guidance that help learners strengthen both technical and artistic skills.
My goal is to help students become confident violinists who enjoy expressing themselves through music. Every lesson develops accuracy, creativity, and a lasting appreciation for violin performance.
