About Desiree
I am a violin tutor with 11 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. I enjoy helping students become confident musicians through patient guidance, consistent encouragement, and carefully planned lessons.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes technical understanding, musical creativity, and steady personal growth. I support every learner in developing confidence while achieving their individual goals.
Outside teaching, I enjoy leading string workshops, performing classical concerts, and researching historical violin compositions. These experiences allow me to share practical performance knowledge and inspiring musical perspectives in every lesson.

My violin lessons encourage students to develop strong technical foundations while enjoying meaningful musical experiences. We practice posture, bow technique, finger accuracy, rhythm, intonation, scales, tone quality, string crossings, and expressive phrasing using carefully designed exercises and enjoyable repertoire. Every lesson supports confidence through steady and enjoyable progress.
As learners become more advanced, we introduce vibrato, shifting, sight reading, ensemble performance, recital preparation, ear training, musical interpretation, and organized practice routines. I provide thoughtful coaching that helps students improve confidently while developing expressive and polished violin playing.
My goal is to help students perform with confidence while developing beautiful tone, reliable technique, and lasting musical enjoyment. Every lesson builds artistic growth alongside practical performance skills.
