About Nathalie
Teaching violin requires a calm demeanour rather than just loud demonstrations. After 13 years on stage and in the studio, I focus on the internal mechanics of your playing. My work is informed by my Artist Diploma in Violin Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
I prioritise classical repertoire, rhythm and timing, shifting positions, and orchestral playing alongside grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity. Developing left hand agility, ear training, vibrato, and correct posture and hold are essential components of my method. I find it truly enjoyable to see students refine their technical foundations through these disciplined steps.

You will start with a diagnostic assessment before we set your practice plan together. This ensures your goals remain clear and your progress becomes something you can hear during our time.
Because of my 13 years in the field and my formal degree, I provide direct feedback on your bowing and intonation immediately. I find that keeping things practical creates the best environment for growth. My aim is for you to feel energised by the clarity of our technical sessions. I simply love watching a piece of music come together through consistent practice.
