I studied at the Musikhochschule in Stuttgart/Germany with Wolfgang Mueller-Nishio and as a post graduate with Elmar Lampson in Hamburg.

I am still as enthusiastic about teaching now as when I first started many years ago.Besides achieving high standards in a warm , supportive and relaxed environment my goal is also to leave a smile on the student's face after the lesson !

Degree : BMus in performing (Musikhochschule Stuttgart ,Germany )
Postgraduate diploma in Music Education
- How much do you charge?
30min. lesson £18, 60min. £36
petrol costs to be negotiated .
- Where do you teach?
I teach both at home and my students' homes. The nearest town is Theale nr. Reading, West Berkshire. I am willing to travel up to 15 miles.
- When are you available?
My hours are flexible and I am available most mornings and afternoons/evenings. I also teach on weekends .
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and all levels.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare my students for ABRSM exams Grade 1-8 - yet taking exams is optional. It doesn't suit everybody.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
Of course making progress with an instrument depends a lot on practising - yet make sure that despite what seems hard work sometimes , fun and the enjoyment of the music comes out at the top !
