About Yomna
I am an 18-year-old violin tutor currently taking a gap year after completing my A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have been playing the violin since I was 9 years old and have developed my experience through playing in an orchestra and performing duets in Coventry Cathedral!
I have always really enjoyed tutoring others especially as I understand how important it is to recognise that not every student learns in the same way. I aim to adapt my teaching to each individual student, helping them feel comfortable, confident and motivated while they learn. :)

- I offer friendly and patient violin lessons for children and beginners, from complete beginners up to Grade 4. I have work experience in a primary school, including supporting children with SEN, and I understand the importance of adapting lessons to suit each child’s individual needs and learning pace.
I create a clear, step-by-step learning plan with specific milestones, helping students make steady progress without unnecessarily stretching out the learning process. I encourage regular practice while making sure it never becomes overwhelming or stressful.
Whether your child wants to learn violin simply for fun and experience, or is serious about improving quickly and working towards grades, lessons can be tailored to their goals.
Lessons are typically around 30–60 minutes depending on age, ability and concentration. I can teach from scratch through to Grade 4, and I also have a spare violin available if needed.
