About Efren
Music has been my constant companion since childhood. I have 13 years of experience teaching violin with a BMus from Queensland Conservatorium. My focus remains on posture and hold, left hand agility, music theory, scales and arpeggios, spiccato and staccato bowing, shifting positions, vibrato, rhythm and timing.
I ensure students perform confidently within 1 term of study. My instruction is direct and disciplined.

You will find the structure of these violin lessons highly organized and clear. Developing the foundation for proper technique creates a rewarding experience as you gain control over your instrument.
I provide free bowing and posture reference notes after each lesson to guide your home practice. My BMus background ensures we cover essential mechanics and theory effectively.
