She continues to refine her craft as both an educator and performer, bringing warmth, expertise, and enthusiasm to every lesson.

About the lesson

Yerim combines Suzuki and traditional methods to provide a well-rounded musical education. Beginners benefit from Suzuki’s listening-based approach, while advancing students incorporate sight-reading, music theory, and expressive playing into their studies. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s skill level and learning style to ensure steady progress.

A Typical Lesson Includes:
Warm-Up – Posture check, bow exercises, and scales to develop tone and flexibility.
Technical Work – Exercises to strengthen bow control, shifting, vibrato, and intonation.
Repertoire Practice – Learning pieces step by step, focusing on phrasing, dynamics, and musical expression.
Review & Application – Reinforcing past lessons, refining skills, and setting practice goals.

Why Study with Yerim?
Adaptable Teaching Style – Engaging lessons designed for young beginners, teens, and adults.

My seven year-old son started his violin journey with Ms Yerim in Massachusettso one year ago. He loves playing violin and had great relationship with his teacher. He has been willing to practice every day. Ms Yerim just gave him a very joyful start and solid foundation. I am grateful that we have her as our violin teacher.

Yerim is extremely talented and patient. My daughter started violin lessons at age 4 and I could not have asked for a better teacher. Yerim was able to keep her focused for the entire 30 minutes and had fun instructional games that my daughter loved to play with her. My daughter really enjoyed going to lessons every week and practiced daily so she could share her achievements with Yerim every week. Learning technique is not always fun for little children, but Yerim made it fun! Yerim pays attention to detail and understands the importance of learning proper technique from the start. I highly recommend Yerim, you will not be disappointed.
