About Serena
A highly passionate and dedicated violinist with over 15 years of rigorous classical training and performance experience across Asia, Europe, and North America. A member of a string quartet, a soloist, an orchestra player and an educator. Graduate from Mannes School of Music with Master Degree and Professional Studies Diploma under professor Michelle Kim. She is currently a member of a string quartet that won the first prize at the American Virtuoso International Music Competition, the second prize at the International BTHVN Wien Music Competition in 2024, they also performed at Carnegie Hall.

Lessons are open to students of all levels (beginner to advanced). Suzuki Method for beginner, tailored to each student’s needs. You're welcome to bring any piece of music you'd like to play.
I emphasize a strong foundation in technique, music theory, and ear training while nurturing musical expression and personal interpretation.
My goal is not only to help students play well but also to foster their confidence, discipline, and lifelong love of music.
I pay close attention to detail, provide personalized feedback, and support each student’s unique musical journey.
