About Yuri
I have been playing violin for 13 years and I am currently studying as a second year at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire to obtain a Bachelor's of Music Honors degree in Violin Performance. I have numerous experiences in both orchestral and chamber playing, most notably being one of the concertmasters in the World Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp 2023 as well as a member of the City of Birmingham Symphony Youth Orchestra and Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra. I have experience with tutoring students privately since high school and also chamber coaching as a high school intern at the Concordia University Irvine Summer Chamber Music Intensive 2022. I am very enthusiastic about teaching violin and I believe in nurturing every student so that they can reach their full potential, and I tailor my lessons to everyone's needs. I am open and comfortable with teaching basic fundamentals, techniques, etudes/studies, solo repertoire, and orchestral excerpts.

I would also like to note that since I study in England for the school year, I can do in-person lessons in Irvine during the summer break and online lessons during the school year.
