About Laura
I am currently on the Bachelor of Music course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have been playing the violin for over 10 years now. I have had experience teaching the violin since the ages of 15 working at a music school in my hometown, Peebles. I got my Grade 8 Distinction at the ages of 14 and have a music Performance Diploma which I did at the ages of 17.

My teaching method would depend on the personal goals and aspirations of the pupil. I think personally it is important to do the Suzuki, ABRSM or Trinity Grade books if wanting to learn Classical music as it helps develop the pupils learning and gives them a set goal to achieve.
