About Olena
Olena received her Bachelor’s degree from USC and her Master’s from McGill, she's won solo and chamber competitions, and has played in professional orchestras such as the Montreal Symphony (OSM) and the NAC Orchestra in Ottawa. She also has many years of experience as a soloist, chamber musician and playing music for film scores. She discovered her love of teaching in Los Angeles, where she also served as a violin mentor in public schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

As a teacher, I always strive to demonstrate passion and patience with each student. The way we learn violin or any skill is unique to every person, so I make sure to cater to every student’s individual needs holistically. I encourage students by challenging them with positive reinforcement. In the end, my goal is to inspire the joy of music-making.
