About Sheila
Teaching the violin is something I've always done alongside my career as a performer. I have been lucky enough to have enjoyed many years of creating music in a professional capacity and am keen to pass those skills on. I believe that everyone should have the chance to make music.

I try to make the lessons engaging and fun. It's all about the music. I have a collection of instruments of varying sizes that I am happy to lend out to get young players started, especially if they would like to give it a try first. Some of my adult students are more experienced players who wish to work on the finer points of technique and musical interpretation but it's never too late to learn and I'm happy to start from scratch. I'm able to teach online or at my home nr Pontypridd. My schedule is flexible so that I can fit it in around my work with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. I can help prepare pupils for ABRSM examinations and assist with music theory, GCSE and A level requirements.

Sheila had been teaching me violin and my son piano for nearly 2 years. She is a talented musician who plays for the BBC wales national orchestra. She is a patient teacher who welcomes you into her home. She is very responsive to her students and I always leave having improved my technique and able to see a real difference in my playing.
