About Peter
I am a Philosophy student at the University of Southampton who has played violin since 2005 up to and including grade 7. I have experience playing solo, in both string and ensemble orchestras, and a band, in which I have played a variety of genres, including country, gospel and classical.

I am a first-time teacher, so my teaching method is to be calm and easy-going, yet direct. The classes will begin with warm-ups through scales and lower level music respective to the grade of the student, before moving onto the main pieces. Mistakes of any frequency will be only a source of improvement, not criticism or annoyance.
