About The Interpreter
The Interpreter has been an American Sign Language Interpreter for more than 30 years. She also has a Certificate and an Associate of Deaf Studies, and Associates and Bachelor's in Interpreting. She has worked in a variety of classrooms. From Support Services to General Education classrooms. From Pre-K to the College/University level. When there was a student who needed to catch up in their work, she was the one the teachers would depend on to assist the students. DO NOT FORGET THE INTERPRETER

The goal of my teaching is simple. Make sure that Deaf and Hard of Hearing students are ready for the first day of school, and equipped for everyday life. I will utilize American Sign Language to communicate with the students. I will begin to teach them what they need to know for the first day of school. If school is in progress, I will work with the students on their classwork to make sure that they have clarity. For example, Pre-K students, I will work with them on ABC's, colors, shapes, and numbers. I have worked in classrooms, from Pre-K to the College/University level. I am fluent in American Sign Language, as I have been a Sign Language Interpreter for more than 30 years. DO NOT FORGET THE INTERPRETER
