About Aparna
Hello! I am a passionate Kathak dancer from Siliguri with years of dedication to this beautiful classical form. I have been awarded the prestigious *VISHARAD* degree in Kathak, and next year I will be receiving my *Ratna Award*. I have won many awards and competitions at district and state level.
Dance is my life, not just my profession. I love teaching because I want to pass on the grace, rhythm and tradition of Kathak to the next generation. I am patient, friendly and I teach every student with personal attention, whether you are a small kid, a beginner, or an advanced learner preparing for exams and stage.

Kathak is not just dance, it is storytelling through your feet, hands and expressions. My teaching is different - I don't just make you memorize steps, I teach you the feeling behind each movement.
We start from the basics - tatkar, mudras, chakkar and expressions - and then slowly build to beautiful choreographies on classical and semi-classical songs. I break down every bol and rhythm slowly so even a complete beginner can follow. No stress, no judgment, just pure practice and grace. Whether you are a kid, a beginner, or preparing for a stage show, I will make you perform with confidence, elegance and proper Kathak technique.
