About Brodie
I am a passionate and dedicated flute tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, working with students from school to college level and helping them grow in music with confidence. Music has always been a strong source of inspiration in my life, and I enjoy sharing that inspiration with my students.
Over the years, I have helped many learners progress from beginners to confident performers, which has been one of my greatest achievements. I have also guided students in preparing for performances and competitions, helping them overcome stage fear and express themselves freely.
My teaching style is simple, supportive, and adaptable, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, finger coordination, tone clarity, and rhythm understanding. I also encourage creativity and enjoyment in learning.
I take time to understand each student’s needs and tailor my lessons accordingly. My goal is to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to learn, practise, and succeed.

I follow a teaching style based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe every student can learn flute with the right support.
I motivate students by giving positive feedback and setting simple goals. Communication helps me explain each concept clearly, from basic notes to advanced techniques. I always encourage students to ask questions.
Integrity helps me guide students honestly and focus on their improvement. Creativity makes my lessons engaging with fun exercises and songs.
Along with flute, I teach basic music knowledge to help students grow.
