About Douglas
I am a passionate violin educator with 12 years of experience, committed to helping students unlock their musical potential. I teach high school students, college students, and elderly learners by providing personalized and inspiring lessons.
Throughout my career, I have successfully taught around 150-200 students and helped them improve their violin techniques, confidence, and musical understanding. I believe that each student has their own strengths and learning journey.
My teaching style focuses on patience, flexibility, and encouragement. I create lessons that are both educational and enjoyable, allowing students to progress comfortably.
I teach violin fundamentals, advanced techniques, rhythm, tone quality, and performance skills. I also help students develop creativity, discipline, and confidence.
A rewarding milestone in my career has been seeing students achieve their personal goals and become more passionate about music. Their success is my greatest motivation.
My goal is to inspire students and make violin learning a positive and memorable experience.

My teaching style is student-focused and encourages continuous improvement through communication, accountability, and integrity. I explain every concept in a clear and organized way so students understand both technique and musical expression. Accountability helps students build discipline through regular practice and personalized learning goals.
Integrity creates a safe and motivating environment where students feel respected and encouraged to grow. Along with violin, I also teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, ear training, performance techniques, and music appreciation.
