About Irene
Actually, my approach is to start with a gentle warmup before we move into phrasing or rhythm. I break down breathing control into manageable parts for every student. Whether you are a teen preparing for grade exam candidates or an adult returning to singing, I provide feedback that is direct and groove-focused. I use my BM Popular Music background to ensure your warm up exercises are practical and effective.
We spend time on head and chest voice transitions. It is quite common to feel tension, so we release it through specific physical cues.
I believe that consistent feedback is the fastest way to see growth. My work with 6 years of experience informs how I pace these sessions for hobbyists and serious vocalists alike. I really enjoy helping you find that extra bit of resonance.

Honestly, I admit that finding your true singing voice often starts with feeling a bit silly. I have 6 years of experience helping students understand breath control and head voice resonance.
My own journey with music, including my BM Popular Music degree from the Université de Montréal, shaped how I approach technical hurdles. I have worked with 107 students who range from returning learners to hobbyists.
