About Beatrice
"Sound is a living thing. As a shape-note and Sacred Harp singer, I approach folk voice through the tradition rather than through rigid mechanics. My Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance from East Tennessee State University informs the way I teach vocal range extension and genre styling for pop, classical, or musical theater. I work with adults, returning learners, advanced learners, and teens to manage stage fear and improve microphone technique.
We also focus on tone and resonance, exam preparation, and navigating the transition between head and chest voice. There is a quiet rhythm to the way I share these skills with my students."

I pace our time to ensure that feedback is immediate and actionable rather than overwhelming. Drawing on 13 years of experience, we explore vocal range extension, genre styling, stage fear management, and microphone technique. Having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance, I rely on the oral tradition to help you find your natural tone.
