Passing = Foundation
Forearms flat, thumbs together, knees bent. “Platform” not “hands” — control comes from arms + core.
Set Like a Chess Player
Think 2 steps ahead: Where’s the hitter? Where’s the block? Set high & outside for power, quick & tight for middle. Hit With Angle + Timing
Approach 3 steps → jump off two feet → swing like a whip. Aim for gaps, not blockers.
Defense = Anticipation
Read the setter’s eyes. Dig low, stay balanced. “Rolls > dives” early — save energy. “Practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.”
