I won't be delving into reading or writing Hindi here. In India, Hindi serves as a primary means of communication in the northern and central regions. However, in the southern parts, various dialects prevail and most people there face difficulty understanding Hindi.
Yet, across India, English serves as a lingua franca. Most signage at airports, railway stations, and on streets is in English, ensuring ease of navigation. Plus, if you find yourself lost, your English skills will come to the rescue.
English proficiency varies among individuals in India, as it's commonly a second language. So, if you're keen on mastering Hindi script, or just want to quickly prepare yourself for a trip to India or want to impress that loved one, specialized classes are available for comprehensive training.
