Hi! My name is Akira and I grew up in Los Angeles, California. I grew up speaking some Japanese and I really sharpened my skills during the 4 years I lived in Japan where I completed my undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Literature. I am looking forward to meeting new people from all walks of life and sharing my knowledge of Japan, Japanese, and Japanese culture! Hope to see you soon!

Hi! My name is Akira, I am half Japanese and grew up in Los Angeles. I am not 100% fluent in Japanese (in a business or academic sense) but I lived in Japan for4 years and grew up speaking Japanese at home!
If you’re someone that is looking to start learning Japanese little by little, or just wanting to learn just enough to get around during your trip to Japan, I am your guy!
My lessons would consist of learning the alphabets, basic grammar, words and phrases, and more casual day to day Japanese speaking style!
