About Limeze
I am a self taught cake decorating artist. Started as a hobby 30 years ago with my son's first birthday cake. The experience awarded me so much enjoyment, it became a part of my life thereafter. I read books, watched videos and practiced and tried new ideas and still doing so. I have made over 150 cakes inclusive of birthday cakes, wedding cakes, 21st cakes, retirement cakes, baby shower cakes and deserts. I focused mainly on 3D cakes and also made mock cakes eg. diaper cakes for baby showers. Cake decorating is a fun and rewarding hobby and it can also be a very lucrative business. I will provide pics of my cakes upon request.

The teaching method that I use, has been proven with the test of time. I will give a student a visual demonstration with instructions, measurements, quantities, etc. and the student will have their own tools and supplies to practically follow. The best way to learn is to practice, try and try again until the desired result is achieved. These lessons are aimed at Mom's who would love to make their own cakes for their kids or for anyone who wants to start cake decorating as a hobby or a business. My lessons are based on my experience and sharing my ideas and knowledge. I will start with the basics dependent on the students knowledge. for those students wishing to start their own cake decorating business, are welcome to take my Bookkeeping lessons after.
