About Alvaro
My name is Alvaro and I am an engineering university student in Glasgow, UK. I was born and raised in Asturias ( a northern province of Spain). When I turned 18, I moved to the UK to study my degree! So I genuinely believe that this website is an incredible opportunity to share all my knowledge to you and not only learn spanish but also its traditions, expressions, cuisine and so on! I have had lots of experience teaching students since, back in Spain, my school had a huge rate of international students. Therefore, I have always had the chance of teachings different students,from different countries, backgrounds and levels.
My teaching method normally consists on:
Find out what your end goal is: maybe you just want to improve your oral skills or correct your grammar, extend your vocabulary, improve your writing, etc.
Then, I figure out what level are you in and how the course materials should be of an addecuate level of difficulty. Are you a begginer? Intermidiate? Advance?
After, I try to follow online books, readings, videos... All sorts of different ways to have interactive classes!
