About Sabine
Hello and welcome! My name is Sabine, I’m French, and I grew up in Paris, the city of love, baguettes, and croissants! My native language, of course, is French, and I absolutely love this language—its richness, its subtleties, and its sounds. Each language is a true reflection of a culture, a bridge between people and ideas. That’s why I love discovering new languages and cultures. A few years ago, I decided to take on a challenge: to learn English. But not in the usual way! I gathered all my courage and went to Ireland without speaking a word of English. Once there, I threw myself into it, learning on the ground, with people, in real-life situations. As a learner myself, I completely understand all the stages of this journey: the excitement at the beginning, the moments of doubt about your abilities, the constant search for motivation, and of course, the times when you need encouragement to keep going. I’ve experienced these moments, and even today, I still face them as I learn new skills. It’s all part of the journey! Learning a language is a personal and intimate adventure, a path full of challenges but also filled with small victories. What’s wonderful is that with every step, you discover new things, surprise yourself, and one day, you find yourself speaking fluently with pride. This is exactly what I want to offer my students: the support needed to navigate this path, so they can feel proud of their progress and achievements. Today, I speak English fluently, and this experience has taught me not only how to master a new language but also how to understand the effort and courage required to step out of your comfort zone. Currently, I live in Australia, which allows me to bring an international dimension to my lessons. I know that each learner is unique, and that’s what I love about teaching: helping everyone progress at their own pace while having fun! My goal is to guide you through this beautiful adventure of learning French, while sharing my love for my language and culture. It’s not just about grammar and vocabulary, but also about immersing you in the very essence of what French represents. I really hope that through my lessons, you will discover French in a lively way, through exchanges and the richness of our culture.

What can I offer you in my French lessons? Although I don’t have a degree in linguistics or teaching, my experience with learning languages, combined with my passion for the French language and cultures, allows me to offer you a practical, immersive, and human approach to learning French. You’ll learn to speak like a true French person, with all the subtleties that make this language unique and lively! Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, I adapt to your needs and goals. If you have any questions, doubts, or need encouragement, I will be there to support you every step of the way.
