About Joshua
I am a student at Michigan State University studying German and Journalism. I have lived abroad several times in my life and can hold conversation in German, Finnish, Korean, and my native language English. I also work as a journalist and writer and have written several articles on historical preservation and environmental issues across the Midwest region of the United States.

As a student who has learned four foreign languages, I know skills and techniques that are effective at learning foreign languages.
I will be teaching skills that I have learned throughout my journey learning foreign languages that I believe will be effective for other learners out there.
Lessons will be taught in immersive format to get the learner to practice speaking and pronunciation along with the basic grammar and vocabulary. This will be executed by having the reader to answer questions in the target language, will be asked to consume media and literature in the target language as homework after lessons, and asked to write a journal to track their progress.
