About Lucas
I teach English since 2012. My mother, father and sister are English teachers as well. My father also does translation work, some of which I helped to translate and transcribe. I was born in England and I live in Brazil since childhood. I know well both languages and cultures because of the family I have in England and Brazil (respectively paternal and maternal family). I usually study both languages every day.

I often use my own material (textbooks, games, quizzes, music and fiction books), as I do for more than three years. I teach with creativity in a fun and interesting lesson in order not to be dull and unexciting. There isn't a unique way to learn because each student has their needs and wants, so I need to know the student (which usually takes one class) to find the best way to direct affairs. I try not to pressure students or underestimate them. Interest in learning must come to the student naturally and comfortably.
