About Nicolas
I provide a patient and supportive, yet detail-oriented approach to tutoring. I have worked for several different companies tutoring grades 3-12, taking the student into account and adapting my approach to suit their needs. As I have experience creating online Math content, my proficiency in Math-related concepts, along with how to best communicate them, is very strong.

My main goal is to reinforce classroom concepts and not introduce new content. I like to start my tutoring sessions with a concept review, asking the student what they are most comfortable with along with any potential areas of improvement. This is followed by guided problem-solving, where I encourage the student to identify the key techniques and strategies. Along the way, I will provide small pushes if necessary and decrease the amount of help as the student becomes gradually more comfortable with the material.
