About Alyssa
I’ve spent six years teaching and mentoring learners from beginners to aspiring web professionals. My goal is to demystify the coding process and empower students to turn ideas into working, elegant designs. I believe web development is a balance between art and logic. My Web Development lessons follow a “learn-by-building” approach where students create real projects from the very first day. We start with structure—understanding HTML and CSS—and gradually move towards JavaScript interactivity, responsive design, and dynamic web applications. Each class combines technical skill with design thinking. Students not only learn how to write code but also how to design with purpose and usability in mind. Projects include personal portfolios, blogs, landing pages, and simple applications—each reinforcing a core skill. I focus on debugging, problem-solving, and understanding how small changes affect larger outcomes. Through peer review and collaboration, learners gain confidence to build independently and troubleshoot effectively. By the end of the course, students possess a professional portfolio, deep conceptual understanding, and the creative freedom to bring any digital idea to life.
