I first met Daryl when I was his Academic Manager at, the World Foreign Language School in Shanghai. He was relatively new to teaching, but his commitment to his students made him stand out from most of the other teachers. He would put in the extra time and effort to prepare fun and engaging lessons which he delivered in a manner that engaged the students in a fun manner creating an excellent rapport with each student. Another strength of Daryl’s was that he tried his best to ensure each child was given the best opportunity to succeed in their learning.

As an Academic manager, I was appreciative of Daryl’s hard work and willingness to complete the tasks requested, such as lesson plans, and observation lessons with feedback. He was always punctual often spending extra time whether before or after work. While having to deal with teachers arguing and personality clashes, Daryl's rapport with all other teachers was always friendly and always willing to provide support to them.

An indication of Daryl's value to the school administrators was the principal's enthusiasm to renew his contract, offering many incentives including large pay raises.

Following Daryl's career over the years it is obvious that he has continually made great advancements in his skills, knowledge, and talent as a professional teacher. He has been welcomed into well-known and respected International schools, where he spent many years teaching.
