About Maria
I am a special needs teacher with over 15 years of experience. I have worked most of my life within the special needs field but I have also worked in mainstream. I am also a primary and English teacher back home which gave me the chance to provide tuition to a wide range of people 4-25 years old during 10 years. I am also an early intervention practitioner who loves supporting kids in their first stages of life so that they can reach their full potential.If what you want is an early intervention with your child which is more focus on cognitive development, communication development physical /motor development the rate is 60£ per hour. This type of intervention requires of more specialisation as well as resources and preparation which involves more work outside the lesson time.

I do not follow a particular methodology. I adapt my lessons or sessions to the child needs so I use what I see it works for the child. I always tend to use multi-sensory approach since it works for both, special needs and mainstream kids.
I have created a Facebook page where I share articles and interesting facts for parents who like to be up to date with methodologies, research etc. I also offer my services there. Please feel free to have a look at it.

The first lesson which is free is more of a first contact to talk to parents and students to talk about expectations and needs.
