About Eileen
I am fortunate to be both an educator and writer. I have an MFA in English from the City University of New York, the honor of having published over 50 books and articles, as well as awards. In terms of my teaching, I have had the great pleasure of meeting and working with thousands of clients from around the world.

Lessons are handcrafted to meet the individual's needs and goals. In terms of structure, each lesson includes guided conversation based on a grammatical lesson, creative conversation giving the student freedom to "own" the language, and a component on pronunciation. For each client, I will prepare a lexicon of vocabulary, phrasal verbs and idioms to suit their area of expertise-- a lawyer in Brazil needs very different terminology than a fashion designer in New York City! I am happy to work with professionals at any level of English. You will be amazed at your own progress when lessons are designed specifically for you.
