About Daniel
I am a violin tutor with over ten years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory with a violin specialization. I love working with adult beginners and returning learners who want to explore music at their own pace. My lessons focus on improvisation and non-classical genres like jazz and blues. We use simple exercises that build confidence without feeling overwhelming. I teach ergonomic positioning and mindfulness to keep your body relaxed while playing. A relaxed body leads to better sound and more enjoyment. We explore Folk, Blues, Easy Classical, and Worship music to keep things fresh and exciting. I believe that learning the violin should be a creative and rewarding experience. You are never too old to start again or try something new. My approach is patient and supportive, always meeting you where you are. I encourage creative freedom and personal expression in every lesson.
