About Mark
I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow and realise their potential. After more than a decade working in primary education, I’ve seen first-hand how much of a difference the right support and encouragement can make to a child’s confidence and progress.
One of the things I find most rewarding is seeing that moment when something finally clicks for a child, or when they begin to believe in themselves and their abilities. Private tutoring gives me the opportunity to work more closely with individual children, focus on their specific needs and celebrate their progress along the way.

I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and confident in their own abilities. My approach to tutoring is therefore centred around getting to know each child as an individual and understanding their strengths, needs and learning style.
With over a decade of primary school teaching experience, I’m able to identify where a child may need additional support and tailor each session accordingly. I aim to make learning engaging and enjoyable, while gently challenging children to reach their potential.
