About Violet
For me, teaching French is about more than language—it’s about perspective. After earning a degree in International Relations with French, I began using contemporary media to bring lessons to life. For the past 3 years, I’ve guided students through real headlines, podcasts, and interviews to build fluency that reflects the modern world. Authentic listening sharpens pronunciation and develops a genuine sense of rhythm. Every audio clip becomes an exercise in accent and comprehension. Beyond vocabulary, we unpack meaning, tone, and argument. My students include professionals and researchers eager to engage with French ideas. Together, we discuss global issues through linguistic nuance. I love watching students grow confident enough to express complex thoughts in fluent French. My teaching approach combines structured learning with conversational freedom. I use active dialogue to build confidence and cultural understanding in French. Much of my teaching draws inspiration from food and dining experiences. Students learn vocabulary for ordering, cooking, and describing dishes in a natural, relaxed way. Each lesson creates space for expression and curiosity. I often use restaurant role-plays and authentic recordings to strengthen listening skills. Exam takers and academic learners receive tailored grammar and pronunciation coaching. But whether we’re practicing verbs or discussing desserts, fluency stays the focus. I want every student to feel at ease speaking French anywhere—from classrooms to cafés. Learning should engage both the mind and the palate. Together, we’ll explore how French cuisine reflects its language. The result is confident, flavorful communication that feels authentic and enjoyable.
