Methodology

My teaching is based on the enrichment of vocabulary with the introduction of grammar to build fluency. I devote considerable time to conversational practice using different scenarios to create the need for vocabulary and grammar to be used. I encourage students to read the language, initially advertisements, then small newspaper articles followed by books. I also encourage students to watch videos with sub titles in the two languages concerned. Essays are a tool which I find useful in determining a students progress in both English and Spanish

Experience

I am a retired priest with ten years military service; Head of a Training Establishment and teacher of Spanish to British Expatriates and English for Spanish speakers. I have had many students on an individual basis and tutorials in small groups with audio and visual aids.
