About Riya
I am a writer and instructor of 5 years. I have taught a range of students, from K through 12th, along with College students and new professionals. I specialize in creative writing and essay/test preparation and editing. As well as critical thinking and analysis for students focusing on literature and comprehension. My goal is not to fix your writing, it is to help you become a better writer & reader using a holistic approach crafted for each student individually.

My teaching method is tailored to your needs. Reading & Writing include many disciplines, and focusing our efforts to better the style of writing which you are working on at the moment, is key! I also work with students to target their weak spots and help them to build long lasting habits that will improve their overall language skills. I also improve reading comprehension, critical analysis and vocabulary to better your skills in the long term.
