About Ravi

Hi, I'm Ravi Vasani — an Accounting and Finance professional with over 10 years of industry experience and 3 years of dedicated teaching experience.

I help students, job seekers, career switchers, and working professionals build real, job-ready skills in the accounting software used every day by businesses around the world — including Xero, QuickBooks Online, MYOB AccountRight, MYOB Essentials, Zoho Books, and Advanced Excel.

About the lesson

My teaching style is practical and hands-on. Instead of just walking through menus and features, I use real business scenarios and live examples so you actually understand why you're doing something, not just how. Whether you're starting from scratch or brushing up before a job interview, I'll tailor each session to where you are and where you want to go.

Methodology:

I believe Accounting Software is best learned by doing, not just watching. My sessions are built around real business scenarios rather than generic tutorials, so you learn how these tools are actually used in day-to-day work.

Each session typically follows this structure:

1) Concept first — a clear, simple explanation of what we're covering and why it matters in real practice
2) Live demonstration — I walk through the task live in the software, using realistic business data and situations
3) Hands-on practice — you perform the task yourself while I guide you, so the learning sticks
4) Real-world case studies — practical examples drawn from actual accounting workflows (invoicing, reconciliation, payroll, reporting, etc.)
5) Doubt-clearing & feedback — every session ends with time for your questions and personalized feedback on your progress
