About Yashaswini

I’m Yashaswini, a second-year Bachelor of Economics student at UNSW. I’ve always loved learning and sharing knowledge with others, which naturally drew me to teaching. For me, tutoring is not just about helping students improve their grades, but also about building their confidence and showing them that learning can be enjoyable and rewarding. I want to teach because I know the difference a supportive mentor can make, and I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is all about making learning clear, practical, and enjoyable. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my style to suit each individual. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple steps, using real-life examples to connect theory with practice, and encouraging open discussion so students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just to help with grades, but to build genuine understanding and confidence in the subject. I also provide strategies for problem-solving, exam preparation, and time management, so students walk away with skills they can use well beyond the classroom.
