About
I’m Lucy! I’m patient, willing to help and have lots of experience with children of lots of ages, I’m currently studying my a levels, biology, chemistry and psychology at a grammar school and I also passed the 11+ so am happy to help with that! The lessons would be online and last around an hour but I’m willing to give you as much or little time as you need to understand everything you’re struggling with! I struggled with chemistry for so much of year 10 and was getting 3s, my teacher really wasn’t working for me, I then got a tutor and it all suddenly clicked and I achieved a high 9! I am so grateful to this tutor and would love to be this person for someone else, I really believe it is so much about the teacher and it is so important you understand their ways of teaching and they explain things well. The lessons would be what you want them to be, whether that’s structured tutoring where we cover the whole course, or whether that’s just going through questions or tricky concepts you need help with or whether it’s simply giving you resources, advice and homework help, very much whatever you would like! Hi! I’m Lucy, I’m a year 12 student who achieved all 9s in my sciences at gcse- I’m not just someone who 9/A* came naturally to so I understand what I feels like to not get something, and I think I have the best tips and tricks to achieve top grades, lots of memory tricks and methods to revise that will help so much, also lots of websites that helped so much. I can also explain tricky concepts and give lots of practise questions in maths and sciences, I’ve just done GCSEs so it’s all very fresh in my mind and I have lots of tips to share! I will give you as much support as you need and do everything in my power to get you top grades!!
