About Lia
I am a Year 12 High School student, and have realised the struggles of learning in a competitive environment with many other students, and only one teacher. I’ve realised that additional support systems such as tutoring has evidently increased my confidence in the content I’m learning, as well as my grades. I’ve always had a passion for learning and helping others, so becoming a tutor feels like a natural fit for me. I find joy sharing my knowledge and helping students overcome challenges. Being a tutor allows me to make a meaningful difference in someone’s education journey, while also continuously learning and growing myself. I believe in the power of education to transform lives and tutoring allows me to play a direct role in that transformation, whether it’s helping a struggling student catch up, or challenging a high achiever to reach even greater heights. I find fulfilment in being a part of their academic journey, being a tutor enables me to empower others and make a positive impact in my community.
