A bit about me is that I am a 21-year-old college student from Sacramento, California. Although English writing is not my major it is something I have always excelled at. The reason I believe I'd make a great fit for younger students is I have gone through those same school experiences myself just a few years ago and understand the challenges youface.

My basic teaching philosophy when it comes to reading and writing is that practice makes perfect. A typical lesson would include reading a piece of literature an essay for example analyzing it and working on responding to a prompt.
